Maximum drilling capacity is 1/2" in 1" thick cast iron. When you need precise, repeatable holes, this tool will get the job done more comfortably and accurately than a hand drill. The perfect size for the shop and portable enough to take to work. Built with a rigid cast iron construction: head, table and base ensure accurate holes. Its powerful induction motor features ball bearings for longer life and all with smooth, balanced performance even at high speeds. The ½" chuck with JT33 spindle taper gives you versatility with a wide variety of drill bits. The worktable is beveled at 45° left and right for those tricky operations to get the perfect right angles consistently. The base contains pre-drilled holes for mounting to a workbench or stand. The slotted table allows mounting clamps and vises for effective work holding.
